Ladies coffee

Every 4th Saturday at the Texican Restaurant on Manchaca Road at 9:00 a.m.  Dutch treat breakfast with lots of fellowship, laughter and support.  Join us on Oct. 22.  We will not meet in Nov. or Dec. and will resume our coffee's on Jan. 28.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD  

We are collecting the following items for our Shoe Box Packing Party.  Stocking caps, mittens, scarves, Christman books, socks, toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss, soap, small toys, jewelry, purses, shorts, shirts, school supplies, combs, brushes, hard candy (no chocolate) and donations to pay shipping cost.

We desperately need shoe boxes.  You can bring regular shoe boxes or plastic shoe boxes.  Bring them to the church office wing.

Linus Project 

Every 3rd Saturday in E115.  Making blankets for children in crisis distributed by civil servants.

Don’t sew? If you can put blankets in a bag or untie knots, you can help!  This non-profit group provides Security thru Blankets: new handmade, washable blankets are given as gifts to seriously ill and/or traumatized children, ages 0 – 18 and provided Dell Children’s Hospital, sizes preemie and up.
Come observe and if interested, you can become a “Blanketeer”.

        Therapeutic Pillows

Our ladies are making heart pillows for heart patients at South Austin Hospital.  If you like to sew we would appreciate any help you can give.  Call the church office for pattern and stuffing.
